Procastination

Hmm... Did I just blog last night?! Or I should say it was early today... Anyway who cares! I haven't slept since. I thought I could start doing my chores in the morning and finish by 3PM before my father comes home. Well... I DID NOTHING AGAIN!! =X

Shit! This has been happening everyday even before I made that to-do list. By this hour I should have almost done up everything but nothing is done again and I'm sleepy. The weather is so fucking warm!!! Just told Tri on MSN that I showered 7 times since last night. Ok I was being exaggerating. It was about 4 times...

Tomorrow's Sunday and my mother will be at home. I don't like to do my things when there's people at home. That means it would be Monday. See.. I'm good at this.. Hehe...

Argh... Going for shower again...

Good & Bad

I'm not in a good mood these few days even though I striked 4D 2nd prize on Wednesday. I did something like what my father would probably do. Writing numbers 0 to 9 on small pieces of papers. I got Mimi to pick. Silly but it works! It didn't totally work without offerings. LOL... It didn't come out last weekend but this Wednesday after I cooked Mimi a chicken thigh meal. So if you want to try, please don't forget the chicken thigh. To make sure it's fool proof, you might like to buy it from Tiong Bahru Market. =Þ

Money cannot totally make people happy. Zzz.. Especially with the idiot keep pissing me off! Can't say I got sick of the relationship already. I don't know what's the word to use. Many times I just feel like neglected or not cared for. He has no idea what's on my mind or how I'm feeling. He doesn't know what I like, what I want or what I need. He only know the very superficial things. He only ask those superficial questions just to think that he'd showed concern. He gives me the impression that he doesn't pay attention to the things that I say or the moments we have been through - not bothered or not interested. Many little things just accumulate and piss me off. The worst of all is he can't talk! Whenever I get upset, he pissed me even more when he talk! Sometimes, it's not about being calculative or narrowminded. Little things add up together can affect everyday routine and communication. Grrr...

The more I write about it, the more frustrated I get. Change topic...

I am one of the many people nowadays that don't read newspaper. I am not trying to make a pulling with comparison to others but it's true. At the very least, I tried to keep myself informed through Yahoo news. Today this little line caught me - Debates rages over 'skinny' Aussie model. It's about complains over an Australian's Miss Universe finalist for being too skinny. I was curious and I tried to look for a photo of her.

WTF?!

How can you call this beauty?! No doubt she has a pretty face but I don't find anything really special. All angmohs have deep set eyes and sharp nose. I believe other contestant have a facial look about the same as her. BUT her body?!! I definitely don't know how to appreciate this kind of "beauty"! 49kg at 1.8m! Underweight!!! How can she become a finalist for a contest that aims to promote "healthy, proportioned bodies"?! Those protruding bones are so turn off!! The judges are either blind to see or too stupid to kelong so obviously. The upper arms and the protruding bones at the waist just make people "eeeeeeeeeeew"!

Another Week Gone...

I've done nothing constructive the past week. Sulking over all the miserable things that happened. This is once again not a good beginning for the week but I hope things get better.

Been hanging around Facebook playing the damn bo liao games there, procastinating all other things that I am SUPPOSED to do. I just made a list of it at the side, below the Nuffnang adverts. If anyone of you see the list there not cleared after some time, please come push me a bit. xD

The previous week was at the Mandai Columbarium. It was so crowded and stuffy with all the joss sticks and papers burning. This past Sunday was at CCK Cemetery. It was not crowded but WORSE! So damn fucking hot!! I parked the car under the trees shade and left the aircon switched on so that I could get some cool air immediately after everything. Didn't sleep the previous night in the end I was too exhausted from the baking. Didn't attend Selinda's wedding in the night. Haiz... Next year Qingming must try to find excuse not to go cemetery, unless its before dawn or something.

At the cemetery we visited two relatives, my father's aunt and his eldest brother. I am so used to telling people that my father is eldest among his siblings that I forgot he actually got an elder brother who died very long ago, even my mother never met before. To my surprise, he died of what people think is a myth. Consumption of alcohol and durian. Chinese doctors might probably explain that u get too "heaty" with the two mixed. A more scientific explanation will be that durian is rich in proteins and if mixed with alcohol will become yeast. So, don't play play ah!

A third tomb my father visited, just a few units away from his brother, a stranger to me. It was my father's classmate, died of accident damn many years ago. So kind of my father to go offering every year, since before my birth! Apparently, nobody ever visited that guy. The tomb's overgrown with weeds. My father paid the caretaker every year to have it maintained.

Too soon to praise him! Zzz... Just finished drafting that paragraph, stepped out my room to get water refilled, there he kpkb at me again. Complained Mimi poo in the sink and he cleared already?! Wtf?! Since when?! Then I realised it was a bag of rubbish which I left at the sink ready to throw in the chute. Kaoz! A bag of rubbish that include the pee and poo which I scooped from Mimi's litterbox. It was tied up!! Knn you want to open and see then you fuck me saying it's smelly!! Nabeiz!! Whose pee and poo not smelly?! His poo also smelly wat! And he always never flush completely!! Idiot!

Another idiot is off tonight. Should be another boring night. I just hope he don't piss me again.

It's been a very miserable weekend and a bad monday to start with. =( I'm not in the mood to blog at all but I have totally nothing to do right now!

Drove out to buy cigarettes and paid up the parking fines. FOUR tickets within 3 days!! Two of which I got yesterday. Zzz...

Totally restless week. Selinda's wedding coming up this Sunday and I'm so NOT in the mood to go at all.

A lot of chores are waiting for me to clear again... I hope things get better before this weekend. Looking forward to the next photoshoot outing..

An Expensive Birthday Celebration

Didn't notice the floating soccer field everytime I passed Shear's Bridge!

Unpacked my stuffs and realised I forgot to bring my belt! Shit! I need the belt for my dress. Luckily I stay so near from town. Went home to take my belt and check on Mimi. I missed him so much. As I declared his birthday same as mine, I felt injustice for him staying home alone on his birthday.

Met him at 6PM. The idea was to go shop for a birthday present then dinner at Jaan, but we have no actual plans! The hotel package includes a bubble bath which the fitness centre supposed to prepare, but they normally close at 10PM. I was lost with where to go and what to do first. Luckily the hotel is kind enough to allow me arrange for the bath anytime after 10PM.

We didn't go around shopping to save time for other things. I already had in mind what I wanted for present so we just went straight to Cathay Photos. I wanted a scanner from there and at the same time, trade in my cable release for it. Bought the cable release last week and realised I don't really need it because I can set the camera to self-timer. I thought he should just subsidise part of the scanner as my present in the end he paid all. $855 after trade in of the cable release! =S

Went back to the hotel for me to get changed for dinner. I didn't wear a dress out to meet him because I prefer to go shopping with something simple and comfortable.

To doll up and go eat at some posh place, why not a hairdo? Yes, I brought along my own curling tongs. So just do a quick DIY anyhow... Maybe not so quick because someone waited, waited and waited.. Hehehe...

Drove to Stamford. No reservations at Jaan but there was a miserable table available to us. Went to take a peek before deciding. I didn't like the place. Simple decoration, small and quiet. Well, fine dining... Everyone was eatng and speaking very softly. But what for spend so much to eat there without a table by the glass window? Anyway the tables at the windows were not really near. Diagonally placed about half a metre away from the glass. Worst of all, the glass was covered with condensed vapor. Can't see the view... Zzzz... Don't want eat there lah! We will go try another time, but NOT at Jaan. Probably the Equinox restaurant. There seems to have a better view and more casual.

He kept saying want to eat somewhere in HIGH places.. LOL.. Tried calling Mandarin Hotel but the revolving restaurant at the top of their building is closed. Maybe for renovation, not sure. Bo bian... I suggested just go to Garibaldi. So we walked to Purvis Street.

Reached there and realised they have another outlet, Gunther's, just next door. They serve modern french food. Ok, settled with that. Was hoping to meet Sofian but he was on MC. Met someone he know instead. Maybe Sofian's friend or brother, I didn't ask. Good thing, at least someone to arrange a table and recommend food.

The place was much better than Jaan. More comfortable. People eating and chatting lightly. Not so tensed like Jaan. It's casual fine dining and I would say the food they serve can be compared to Jaan. Not cheap anyway.

Prawn tempura.

This one err... Looks plain, but it's not what we ordered. Friend gave us a piece each for testing. It tasted good! Anyway we ordered 3 starters and 2 main course to share. Odd combination to have?? We just ordered whatever we like.

First starter.

Can't say I had caviar before but now I can... Hehehe.. Cold pasta topped with caviar and taste very good! He almost licked the plate. What you see is only half the portion and I think that's the right portion for a starter. Eating the full portion I think will be too full for the rest.

2nd starter

That's wagyu beef carpaccio. Taste hmm... Ok? Good? Too thin to really enjoy the taste. Crispy on the outside and raw inside. Goes well with the sauce.

3rd starter

Foie gras!! Coated with almond and honey. Taste great!! We wanted to order one full portion for each of us. Friend suggested splitting half of every order for us. He just nodded without paying attention. Then he complained he had not enough of foie gras. -_-" Actually me too... Hehe..

First main course

Pasta again but this time warm. He wanted seafood so we ordered this. Said to be cooked with imported french chilli and it's spicy, but I think it's only a tiny bit. Taste good but nothing special.

Wagyu beef steak!! 9th grade it says.. Taste very good!! Pricey but worth it!!

We didn't order any dessert. Friend was kind enough and insist serving me an apple pie and scoop of ice-cream for testing. Just very small portion because we were too full to eat.

By the time we finished eating, the other guests already left. Seems like we booked the place. Faster pay up and make a move. Don't want to make people wait. No views to enjoy anyway. Haha... Everything for $330 after tax. Drinks complimentary by friend. =)

He suggested go for a drink but I wasn't in the mood to go pubs or bars. Why leave the expensive hotel empty?? Good point, so we headed back. OMFG!! After eating so full we had to walk back to City Hall for the car. Regretted not driving over. On the way back we bought a small bottle of whiskey.

I think that's ok because we will be too occupied to enjoy that later. xD Drank the whiskey and waited for the concierge to make arrangement for our bubble bath. Which, two ladies appeared with a push tray at our room. OMG! There's a vase of red roses, strawberries and a bottle of champagne to go with the bath!!

No! No! He's not horny (yet)! LOL... There's a story to it. After the ladies came and placed the things on our table, they disappeared to the bath room to prepare our bath, closing the doors behind them. We waited quite a while and I started to wonder what take them so long. Which he said maybe they inside..... And made that gesture to me.... Muahaha...

Oooooh....

So it's pom pom time! He loved the bath very very much!! He wants to go back again. He loved the food, view, bed, champagne, bath and punting with my laptop. He seemed to enjoy everything more than me!! Lol... The package also includes breakfast buffet for two. We only stayed till about 7AM and checked out. Had breakfast and went home. A very enjoyable birthday!! Thank you darling! =)

Fun With A Tripod

I haven't been blogging here because I was busy with another blog. WTF?! Hehehe... That shall serve mainly for photography and stuffs. =)

Earlier with zero anticipation, now suddenly for the first time I so look forward to my birthday!! Had always planned to spend the night at a nice hotel. Was deciding between New Majestic or Hotel Re!. He suggested why not Ritz Carlton instead. OMG good idea!! LOL... So we shall check in to our booking tomorrow!!

Still a little undecided with the menu for dinner. He suggested Jaan at Equinox. Wah siao bo?!! Need to be so expensive meh?! Looking at Xiaxue's blog on her Valentine's dinner, I think the only thing that interest me about eating there is trying on my EOS.. LOL.. Furthermore, the Ritz Carlton booking cost more than $600... Kaoz.. Do I need a $1000plus birthday celebration?! And I don't want to dress up to go there... I hate dressing up!

Well, I remembered once when he was still working at CHIJMES. He sneaked off from work and went Equinox for a beer with me. Outside the bar is Jaan. During then he mentioned he will book a table there and bring me which I complained recently that he never did. But then... I complained because I can't feel that he's trying to do something for me.. I didn't complain for the sake of wanting to eat there! LOL... Anyway... Maybe go try the italian restaurant at Purvis Road.

For the sake of shooting the Marina Bay night view from the hotel room which I am going to stay in, I bought a tripod. Hehe... Went to the merlion last night for testing.

Was playing around with the shutter speed and aperture. Tried the maximum shutter speed (30seconds) for my EOS with a small aperture. Then we had fun walking in front of the camera while the shutter is opened, but we don't see ourselves in it!!

It started out happy - him coming out early. BUT with totally no plans! Kaoz... Dinner was at Dempsy... OMG! I didn't know Magarita's was there!! I jus realised yesterday but their kitchen was closed.. Will go back there another day! Hurhurhur.. So anyway we went to the wine outlet which Huimin brought me to. They serve pretty nice light food. I love their braised pork and pizza. Not going to bore you with pictures of the food. I didn't snap any. So fucking dark there! Almost like being in the woods with a few candles beside you!

The waitress helped us took that picture. I was worrying about the dark scene and slow shutter speed. She probably find my camera so lousy why have to peep through the viewfinder one?! Why cannot see from the LCD?! And it was quite dark you had to aim in the darkness and depend on the flash. It would be paiseh to have her take again and again. Glad she did a very good job with one go! =) After dinner was.... Nonsense! Let's not talk about it.. #$%^&

Meeting Wilson for dinner later at Ikoi!! Omg!! So hungry now.. Was planning to go office look for him so that I can cam whore with that super fucking chio white 911 CS i saw last week!! If you don't know what's that.. It's a Porsche!!!! And he just told me it's not there anymore... Sold!! WTF?!!? Are we having recession?!!? Knn can chin chye sold so easily! Grrr...
