The Most Decent Tuesday Since Months...

It's been many weeks he'd screwed up every Tuesdays without fail (except one of the Tuesday few weeks ago which we spent out of town). Same nonsense as usual. Last night was the most peaceful of all.

I don't mean to turn here into a food blog. LOL.. But I really had a sumptuous dinner last night. Or supper? Whatever...

Was craving for some 竹蚌. I did a search online but I have no idea what it's call in English...

This is damn yummy!!

Some sort of shell food. The texture like sotong but more tender. I ate this first time at this stall and I always come back here, never tried elsewhere. Anyway I don't think I need to try another place before I recommend this to be the best. LOL.. (alright this only my personal opinion but trust me!) They probably have a few style of cooking for it. I think it's served best with garlic. The garlic is so finely chopped that it gives the fragrance and crispiness that I always want to go back for more!

I really want to make good use of my EOS450. Learn how to shoot nice pictures out of it. Food is one of my subject and it makes up materials to blog too. Tried to take pictures of every dishes...

Pork ribs.

Taste like charsiew... But not as tender as the first time I tried... Guess you must be lucky enough for the chef to choose the right part of the ribs. This time it tasted like the normal 排骨王... A bit disappointing...

Century egg again!

A cold dish here.. Taste quite good! Saltish, spicy and sour... Goes well with rice..

白灼肥牛

Actually I really don't know what's with the "白灼"? Probably the style of cooking. We had 白灼虾 as well. Commonly known as quick boiled prawns... So I supposed 白灼 means quick boiled? Anyway this beef taste good because... That garlic!! LOL... 又香又脆!! Yum...

I was taking my time to shoot all the food.. PIG WAS COMPLAINING THE FOOD GETTING COLD!! Zzz... Just as I took the picture of that last dish and he asked "这个可以吃了hor?"... Then....
