Got New PSP Slim But Sibeh PeK ChEk!!

Firstly... I got my PSP Slim~~~ Yeah!!!!

But many frustrations over it.. Grrr...

I couldn't wait till Christmas lah.. So Jason said he'll buy it for me in advance.. Lol.. Yesterday went Queensway Shopping Centre.. Bought two pieces of shirts... So long never buy clothes.. Hahaha..

I was actually attracted to the PSP because of the design... Especially the ceramic white.. I think it looks damn cool witht he transparent L & R buttons and the silver side panel... But when it comes to buying... I think that white is a very common colour.. In fact the older PSP already have the same colour.. So I settled with a Lavender Purple.. =)

Finally had a chance to visit Haji Lane... Before dinner, Jason drove me there... It's a single lane one-way street... For some reason it looked like a no-entry road for cars... But it's not... Anyway we parked at the next street, which is Arab Street. Probably I went there late, most of the shops were closed... Or maybe most of the shops are vacant.. Not sure lah.. LOL..

Quite an interesting place.. When I was there, it wasn't crowded... First impression was, it looked like the back lane of some shop houses... Not enough lightings... Just lights from the street lamps... People hanging around at the 5 foot way and along the side of the road.. Looks kind of rowdy...

I noticed groups of people, mostly Malays... They sat at the 5 foot way, chatting away.. At first I didn't know what was going on.. I thought just some kind of gathering for them... But the scene was rowdy because they were sitting on the floor and the 5 foot way is dark... Later I realised they were actually smoking Shisha pipes from one of the cafe.. Zzz... What kind of unique seating is this?!

The shops there all have simple and stylish deco... I only walked into one of the shops... The apparels inside are priced at affordable level... This particular shop is on the 2nd storey... They have a unique signboard downstairs... They have a table and two chairs downstairs at the 5 foot way... And this big brown paper bag with the words "SHOP UPSTAIRS" sitting on the table to tell people they are upstairs.. LOL.. Wasn't able to take a picture because some people are sitting on the chairs..

Had dinner at Stamford House... The outlet selling Japanese curry... Quite nice... Their curry got a bit of indian flavour.. It's the 2nd time I been there.. The 1st time when I was there, I didn't really taste their food properly...

After dinner took a stroll around the area.. Went to the Famous Brands shop selling sports apparels.. Spotted a pair of Diesel shoes... Probably some old design but I like.. It's on sale.. I bought it.. LOL... So much of wardrobe updating for the day..

Reached home happily downloading games for my PSP... Argh.. Unlike the Nintendo DS.. The PSP games are larger in file size.. Cannot be downloaded directly off any website.. Have to go through torrents.. Like snail.. Zzz.. By the time the smaller games finish downloading, I was so sleepy.. Didn't really get to test out the games.. But I noticed a dead pixel on the LCD.. Grrr.. Felt so uneasy.. I consulted MANY people.. All advised me to change a set..

Today woke up and went to change the PSP about 4PM... The have no more stock for the purple!! Told me the new stocks will be in around 6PM... I shopped around Queensway Shopping Centre and crossed over to Ikea... Had meatballs again there... Then went back to the shop again.. Stocks not in yet.. In the end I didn't want to wait anymore... I changed to the Felicia Blue...

Came home just now I try to play the games I downloaded last night.. Funny.. The set couldn't read the games in my memory stick.. Kept saying no games... So I thought I need to format the memory stick with this new set.. Formatted, loaded in the games and try again.. Still can't!! Then I realised this set doesn't have the correct firmware for playing downloaded games.. In another words.. The set is not modified! WTF?! He gave me a wrong set?! Zzzz... Means I have to go down and change again!? WTF?!?! Tomorrow is Sunday.. Not sure if they're open.. If I go down and they're closed.. Then waste my trip!! And I have to wait till Monday! Knn!! Grrrrr!!!

Now I got the PSP beside me.. Can see.. Cannot play.. Zzzz... I haven't try out the games!!! =(

Some consolation for all these frustrations... He is bringing me to Bangkok!!!!! Hmmm... Don't know why I've been looking forward to go on holiday with him for a long time.. But now I don't seems to be as excited as I should be.. Hmm.. I am looking forward to it.. But not the kind of excitement I was expecting.. At least I can spend a few full days with him.. He will never be out of my sight!! And it's confirmed!! We made bookings and paid everything already!! Leaving this coming Tuesday!! xD
